Awkward 80s Styled Engagement Session | Denver Engagement Photography | Nat Moore Photography

Updated: Feb 18

This 80s styled "awkward" engagement session in downtown Denver was just the change I needed for a creative kick in the butt. I normally do traditional engagement sessions all over Colorado and in Denver. This one was different in posing and style so it totally made me step outside the box.

Heather & Nick had to dig deep in their closet drawers for this retro, 80s ensemble. We rented studio space at the Denver Photo Collective to start with a few family portraits. At sunset, we went out into the alley to and street to finish it up outdoors. Even the animals got in on the action and went for a little walk.

Downtown Denver is a great location option for an engagement photoshoot. It's so diverse in the types of spaces that you find. From modern buildings to historic industrial vibes. To urban street art and boutique storefronts. We were along Santa Fe which is one of Denver's Art districts. It has street art, string lights, and urban storefronts. What more do you need for an 80's styled session?
