Some might say having the 'getting ready' portion of your day being documented isn't really necessary. But I feel like if you are going to be surrounded by your girls while you prepare to say "I do" what better way to add to the fun than to have it photographed. Not all brides may have a bridal party that helps each other get ready together but for those who do it's well worth it to have your photographer there with you. There's just something ethereal about a woman getting ready for her husband to be on their wedding day.
Katie was no exception. Her and her friends readied in a hotel up the street from the venue, Galley 1874 in Old Town Arvada, CO. It was fun to watch as they helped each other get ready. And even more fun to watch as they helped the bride calm her nerves.
If you are thinking about skipping getting ready photos I highly recommend you think twice. If you've put a ton of planning into your wedding details you will want them remembered the way they should be. Take a look into Katie's exquisite attention to detail.
