Self Love & Branding Session | MCA Denver Colorado | Nat Moore Photography

As a branded Love & Relationship photographer people ask me all the time if I photograph portraits, or people by themselves like headshots and high school senior photos. But Love and Relationships don't always come in the form of two people. Some love is between you and yourself and a lot of relationships we have with our careers or school. This is why I offer Self Love and Branded portrait sessions. These are important parts of life that deserve to be documented as well. Most of us spend over 40 hours at work, or at school, or working on our passions so that we can support our families. But most of all those are relationships we have with ourselves, because we are working on things inside ourselves, to better ourselves or become better at something. It's for this reason that I don't call my headshots merely headshots anymore, but personality portraits. The traditional headshots in a studio with a boring backdrop are a thing of the past. Let's get together in a setting that suits who you are, somewhere you can open up and be your spunky little self. Let's meet at a cool local brewery so you can enjoy a cold, and maybe even loosen up a little, while we snag some epic portraits of yourself. Or let's meet out on the trail in all your hiking gear, you can always bring a change of clothes to show your more "professional" side if you want. These are places where you can open up to be yourself in front of the camera, where we can laugh and have fun while creating some beautiful portraits for your social media or website.

Shanna and I did just that and met at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Downtown Denver. (If you're going to shoot here please get permission from the front desk on the day prior to and be courteous. No flash or extra gear is allowed but they have plenty of natural window light and white walls. Also note* you must pay the entry fee for you and anyone else joining you.) Shanna is an artist and graphic designer so we felt MCA Denver was an awesome fit for her. She not only does business branding but also paints animal portraits in her business The Rescue Designs. She did a piece of my two dogs that I gifted my husband for Father's Day. Not only is she uber talented but 25% of all proceeds go to helping a needy pet, check her out!! We walked around, enjoyed the artwork, and got some awesome photographs of Shanna being herself. Luckily, she isn't shy as we did have some onlookers at times; but for the most part we were able to be away from other museum visitors. Shanna relaxed, and had a little fun, and it truly shows in her images. Check out some of the shots we got below.
