Wanting a snowy couple's photoshoot in Rocky Mountain National Park? Maybe you're recently engaged and want a beautiful mountain location for your engagement session. Colorado has hundreds of gorgeous locations for photos across the state. But if you are visiting Colorado for the first time it's likely that RMNP is a destination on your list. So why not hire a photographer for photos in one of the most gorgeous parks in the US? There are a few things you need to know before you do. First, the photo permit for RMNP is $50. Your photographer will need to purchase this since it does require them to have liability insurance. Second, if you want winter photos you'll probably need winter gear. The park gets tons of snow in the winter, & spring. So you'll either need snowshoes or at least microspikes to enjoy some of the open trails. Also, it's important to note that Trail Ridge Road is closed from late Fall to early Spring. There are still plenty of gorgeous places in RMNP to visit though. Third, it can be sunny and warmer down in Denver with blizzard conditions in the mountains. Be sure to plan your clothing accordingly if you are leaving from Denver to head to the high country. And lastly, be sure to hire a photographer who has done snowy, mountain photos before. This way they can direct you on appropriate attire and let you know if you'll need to rent snowshoes or not.
I've known Chelsea through the Denver community of women she created, Colorado Girl Gang for a few years now. She's an amazing human being with a heart of gold who loves helping her fellow women get through life and business. She's a Colorado realtor and can throw down when it comes to the whole home buying and selling processes. We're actually going to use her when we sell, whenever that will be in the future.
Chelsea & Jake have been married for ten years. They met at the young age of 18 and were married within a few weeks. Here we are 10 years later and they are still having so much fun together and just enjoying the reason they moved to Colorado, the great outdoors. Jake is an avid huntsman who frequents the land around RMNP a lot. He has a lifetime pass to the park and they spend a great deal of time exploring it. So only a session in the gorgeous Rocky Mountain National Park would suffice for their 10 year wedding anniversary session. Take a look!
